Statement on Anti-Social Car Gatherings in Colin

Yesterday's scenes in Colin were a disgrace. Residents should not have to endure dangerous driving, the glorification of criminality or any anti-community activity on their streets. 

The RUC/PSNI were reportedly warned in advance, yet once again nationalist communities were left to suffer. They seem perfectly capable of acting on intelligence when it means harassing Irish nationalists and Republicans, but not when it comes to dealing with anti-social elements.

The people of Colin deserve safety, respect and a community response that puts families before criminality, reckless behaviour and intimidation.
